Tracy Hirsch – Foreclosure Specialist and Bankruptcy Lawyer
Bad things happen to good people, but everyone deserves a second chance. As a Foreclosure Specialist and Lawyer for Bankruptcy and other kinds of debt relief, Tracy Hirsch has focused the majority of her legal career advising her clients on how to get a fresh start and rebuild their lives so that unfortunate situations won’t devastate their families forever. Ms. Hirsch grew up in Louisville, Kentucky where her family owned and operated a local business for years. She remembered hearing stories of her father and grandfather going out into the Appalachians of Kentucky to help immigrant farmers and other small farm owners by giving them business opportunities that business owners in Louisville would have never dreamed of doing. Without this outreach, many of these families simply would have never survived. Ms. Hirsch believes in not only helping her clients, but giving them the tools and resources to empower them to get back on track and regain control of their finances.
An unexpected illness, loss of job, a fire, or even sometimes something as joyous as the birth of your first child. Everyone has a different story. For those that are living paycheck to paycheck, all it takes is a slight change in your financial affairs to cause a domino effect that can paralyze you and your family financially. We are here to help and give you the guidance you need.
Giving Back to Her Community
Ms. Hirsch is an active member in many facets of the community. She is the co-chair of the Bankruptcy Section of the Louisville Bar Association, and for 5 years has been involved with the Jefferson County Court System’s CARE program which educates high school seniors regarding the dangers of falling into debt at a young age. In addition, she created a spin off presentation called “Coping with the Credit Crunch” which she presents to Bullitt County and Jefferson County Public School families several times throughout the year. As a full- time working mother of two young girls, children’s programming in our community is important to her. She spends significant time helping both The Jewish Community Center and her synagogue with special events and summer planning to keep kids in the community involved.
Ms. Hirsch has focused the last thirteen years of her career helping her clients with issues such as: bankruptcy, foreclosures, debt settlement and other financial matters. She is extremely proud of both the number of families that she has helped get back on track and the high level of satisfaction of her past clients. “No one plans to file bankruptcy.” Most people are not happy to have to walk through my doors, but when they leave my office with a sense of relief, or, more often than not, a hug instead of a handshake…then that is a more accurate level of success”.
